關於展演:

等待了一年多,終於孵出第二個展覽啦!延續第一檔展覽的主題,我們邀請了另外四位藝術家以及特邀一位伊朗籍的語言學家,參與這一次的展覽。
期待能再次與各位相遇。那時此地,我們全是一體的。

策展論述
上一檔展覽靈光乍現Pop Up所談論的是這個社會與我們內在之間的關係,如何將外在的紛擾和尋找內在的平靜取得一個平衡。這是個開始,如何將外在的混亂和內心的平靜作為『區分』。

而這次Pop Up 2.0將其主題延伸,將『區分』延伸出『融合』。我們如何包容外在的混亂,如何將看似不同的種族、文化,找出一個共同點──當人類互不相愛,不明白我們是屬於彼此時,製造了多少混亂。

能真正改變世界的其中一個方法乃是去瞭解:『我們全是一體的。(We are all the one.)』。舉例來說,現在的國際新聞,大批的敘利亞難民湧入歐洲,而一個月後,法國巴黎發生了恐怖份子攻擊。然而當我們深入敘利亞的問題時,會發現其中充斥了複雜的連帶關係,今天會有恐怖份子的起因,有一部分是因為強國對弱國的欺壓,以及人性的貪婪與自私。世界是環環相扣的,沒有一件事情是獨立形成的,我們人類的命運是共有的。也就呼應了《與神為友》一書所說:『你施予別人的,你便施予你自己;而你沒為別人做的,你也沒為自己做。』當我們沒把愛帶給別人時,我們也沒有把愛帶給自己。就像我們沒把和平帶給敘利亞,敘利亞也沒有將和平帶給我們。

我們以為自己的個體比較特別,和別人不一樣。當我們看到別人遭遇的事情,認為不會發生在我們身上,這是我們的思想帶來的結果。但,事實上我們很難逃脫人類共有的命運。我們需要特定文化物品與實踐的提醒,讓我們意識到人生中不可避免的共同特徵。我們也許覺得自己的人生很獨特,但實際上我們的人生和別人的並無太大的不同。

把我們的身體,想像成一個世界的縮影,這土地上存有各個不同種族和文化,『不同』不表示『不屬於彼此』。就像,頭髮跟心臟一樣嗎?不一樣。可是卻存在同一個身體裡。如果我們為了一時的口腹之欲而吃下了對身體不好的食物/或是一時貪玩犧牲睡眠,連帶的關係影響了我們的器官,而導致健康出問題。

這個展覽希望帶給觀眾『希望世界可以變好』的正面訊息,雖然聽起來似乎是一個很大的夢,可是一開始都是由我們自身做改變。如果我們理解『包容和衝突』的重要性,那我們就能先改變自己,然後世界就會跟著改變。

我們不是在萬物中找到自己,而是在自己的體內找到萬物,因為這樣才能讓我們更明白『自己和這個世界的關係』。


身為穆斯林的語言學家Shaghayegh Sajed(莎耶‧薩赫德)運用文字來表達自身的宗教信仰以及長年旅居法國巴黎的深刻情境,將看似矛盾的宗教、種族狀態,以宏觀且深刻的角度傳達。

藝術家黃任斌透過網路發起藝術計畫,募集大眾物件或是想法。也在隨機在某些時刻透過舞者傳遞訊息給予現場觀者,表達出個人內在私密與自私的概念。

藝術家蔡宜婷一如以往使用日常生活中所見的物件傳達自身對於社會的關懷與體認,此次利用磅秤與三稜鏡折射出七彩,企圖讓觀者思考本質的我們或許是相同的,是屬於彼此。

藝術家洪維廷用七套服裝呈現自己與巴黎情人之間的點滴回憶。也因為對方而有動力進行繁複的服裝製作,過程中直接傳達了愛與希望。講求思考人體工學的製衣過程,像是組合身體中不同的器官般。衣服是日常必需品,關乎身體的保暖與外觀的美麗,然而藝術家將服裝重新定義為自身情感的延伸,透過平凡的事物展現出最深厚的情感與經歷。

藝術家甘逸豪的攝影作品詮釋人類與大地之間的關係。當我們赤裸敞開心胸面對大自然,便是給予自己新的開始。照片中人物的身上混合著顏料、土及汗水,呈現出一道道痕跡,象徵每個人都因受傷而成長。也反映著自身因為先天不便而更堅持與社會建立深厚的關係。

此次展覽由一個日常性的公寓空間做為起點,藉由相互連結不同藝術家的觀點(如同身體器官般)彼此協作完成,最終試圖呈現的是一個人的身體全貌。由個體的我開始,進而連結他人,展現出『我們全是一體的』的核心價值。


Curatorial Discourse
We discussed the relationship between the society and our inner being in the previous Pop Up Exhibition and how to obtain a balance between external distractions and the search for internal peace. This is the beginning on how to use the external chaos and internal peace as “differentiation.”

This time, Pop Up 2.0 extends this theme from “differentiation” to “fusion.” How we can tolerate the external chaos, how we can find something common in seemingly different races and cultures – how much chaos is created when human beings don’t love one another and don’t understand that we belong to each other.

A way of truly changing the world is to understand “We are all the one.” For example, the current international news is that a huge number of Syrian refugees had flooded into Europe and a month later, terrorist attacks occurred in Paris, France. However, when we investigate deep into the problems of Syria, we will discover that it is filled with complex, interlocking relationships. A part of the cause of terrorists today is because of the oppression of weaker nations by stronger nations and the greed and selfishness of human nature. The world is interlocked; there isn’t one thing that is formed individually and the destiny of humanity is shared together. This also echoes what is written in the book Friendship with God – an uncommon dialogue, which said, “What you administer to others, you have administered to yourself, while what you do not do for others, you did not do for yourself.” When we do not bring love to others, we have also not given ourselves love. Like we haven’t brought peace to Syria, so Syria also hasn’t given us peace.

We thought our individual selves are more special and different from others. When we view the things that others encounter and think that those won’t happen to us, that’s the result our thinking brings us. However, in fact, it’s difficult for us to escape the shared destiny of humanity. We need the reminder of certain cultural objects and practices for us to be aware of the unavoidable common features in life. We may feel that our life is very unique, but, actually, there isn’t a great difference between our lives and those of others.

Imagine our bodies as a microcosm of the world. Different races and cultures exist on this land, “different” doesn’t mean “not belonging to each other.” such like is hair the same as heart? They’re not the same, but they exist in the same body. If just because of our momentary appetite, we eat food that is bad for our body / or because of being playful, we sacrifice sleep, associated relations will affect our organs, leading to health problems.

This exhibition hopes to bring the positive message of “Hope the world can change for the Better” for the audiences. Although this seems to be a large dream to achieve, but in the beginning, the changes we make are those on ourselves. If we understand the importance of “tolerance and conflict,” then we can first change ourselves, then the world will change with it.

We do not find ourselves in all things, but we find all things inside our bodies, because this helps us understand “our relationship with this world” even better.


As a Muslim linguist, Shaghayegh Sajed uses words to express her own religious beliefs and the profound situation of having resided in Paris, France for a long time, to pass on the seemingly contradictory religious and racial situation with a macroscopic and profound angle.

Through the internet, artist Jen-Pin HUANG started an art plan and collected public objects or ideas. And also through dancers, at random moments, messages are conveyed to the viewing audience to express personal inner private and selfish concepts.

As in the past, artist E-ting TSAI used objects seen in daily life to convey her own care and recognition for the society. This time, she used a scale and dispersive prism to refract a rainbow, attempting to let the viewers to ponder and realize that our natures are probably the same and we belong to each other.

Artist Wei-Ting HUNG used seven sets of clothing to display the pieces of memories with his lover in Paris. Also because the other party, he had the motive to carry out the complicated clothing production and to directly convey love and hope during the process. The clothing manufacturing process which emphasizes ergonomic considerations is like combining the different organs in the body. Clothes are daily necessities and relate to keeping the body warm and having a beautiful appearance. However, the artist re-defined the clothes as an extension of personal emotions. Through ordinary objects, the deepest emotions and experiences are displayed.

The photographic works of artist Yi-Hao KAN interpret the relationship between mankind and the land. When we bare all and open our hearts to face nature, it is giving us a new beginning. The bodies of the people in the picture are mixed with pigments, dirt, and sweat, displaying many traces, which symbolize that each person grows because of having been hurt. This also reflects where because of his congenital inconvenience, he is even more persistent in establishing a deep relationship with the society.

This exhibition uses a routine apartment space as its starting point and by interconnecting the views of different artists (such as the organs in the same body), things are completed through collaboration, where, in the end, it attempts to display the whole picture of a human body. Starting from me individually and then connecting with others, the core value of “We are all the one” is displayed.
