「路過」是一段返家的路上風景。而這段路是藝術家鍾順龍於婚後返鄉定居的十年間往返花蓮鳳林及南投埔里兩個家之間的一段公路。

本次展覽邀請到藝術家鍾順龍，回顧其婚後十年間往返於中橫公路的散亂片斷，藉此討論關於婚姻、生命與目標之間的交錯的關係。這段沿山而築的高山公路風景轉瞬變化也隱含著藝術家的心境轉換。對鍾順龍來說這趟回家的路雖然遙遠且峰迴路轉，但回家不只是回家，同時也是旅行的開始。而這其中的起點到終點間的過程都只是路過，待片刻回望駐足後將隨即繼續前進。

 “Transition” is a series of roadside scenery on the way from artist Chung Shun-Lung’s home by birth, Fenglin, and his home by marriage, Puli, passing regularly after he and his wife decided to settle down back home.

Exhibition of VT Artsalon in October, 2019, we present you artist: Chung Shun-Lung, who reviewing fragmented illustrations of the Central Cross-Island Highway within ten years of his marriage, thus to discuss over the interaction of relationship between marriage, life and destination. The highway which winding mountainous with its every-changing scenery also implied the mindset of the artist that transition along with it. The road back home might be long and meandering, yet, to him, going home also means the beginning of a journey, all that happens between the departures and the arrivals are nothing more than a transition, warranting only a glance before life moves on.
