繼美國的藝術平台Alliance of Artists Communities(藝術家聯盟)2018年的費城年會中特別提出『藝術平權』的議題後，在我們去年台灣藝術進駐聯盟年會的一場工作坊中，有參與的觀眾詢問說：
『有哪些藝術村是能夠提供身障者進駐的? 』
這個問題給了我們新的指引，我們才突然驚覺這是當今藝術進駐及藝文空間最常忘記的一個族群。藝文空間、藝術進駐是否有把「藝術平權」放在心上? 當我們說到 多元Diversity & 包容 Inclusion 時，在時現實的層面中又到底是什麼? 執行 D&I 策略的過程中，常常淪為例行公事，只確認是否完成項目。放在藝文空間的結構中，我們真的多元? 我們真的包容嗎?
在2020年台灣藝術進駐聯盟年會台北場的工作坊，我們邀請了四位講者分別從創作者、空間經營者、設計師、政策規劃及公辦藝術進駐等面向探討台灣的藝文空間在無障礙規劃上碰到的種種課題。
試探討在當今我們所處的環境及既有的條件下，面對視障、聽障及身障的創作者，我們是否有合適的創作環境? 面對需要無障礙服務的觀眾，我們還能透過什麼多樣性的概念而導向實際的行動？

"Which artist-in-residence programs are friendly for the physically-challenged artists?"
After the issue of "art equality" was raised at the 2018 annual meeting of Alliance of Artists Communities in Philadelphia, the question was asked again while we hosted our annual meeting workshop last year.
Such a question dawned upon us, and we suddenly realized that this is a group most forgotten in residency programs and art spaces. Is "art equality" really a concern for art spaces and residence programs? When there is so much talk about diversity and inclusion (D&I), what does reality look like? Oftentimes, the implementation of D&I becomes routine, where we only care if it is covered at all. Do our art spaces genuinely take diversity into consideration? Are we really inclusive?
This year (2020), the Alliance of Artist-in-Residence in Taiwan workshop in Taipei invites four guest speakers with various identities---creator, art space owner, designer, policy planner, public artist-in-residence organizer---to talk about the issues and difficulties in designing accessible facilities in Taiwan's art spaces.
We will explore questions such as “Do we have pragmatic and desirable creative environments for creators with visual, audible, and physical disabilities?”, ”For our audiences who require accessible facilities, what can we do from the perspective of diversity?”
