「這是一場大屠殺」
《蜘蛛人（Spider-Man）》漫畫角色「大屠殺（Carnage，或譯屠殺、血蜘蛛）」由主角彼得帕克（Peter Benjamin Parker）身上的血液形成，紅色的血液、嘴上的尖牙、黏液狀的軀幹和不斷抽搐的肢體，無時無刻誇張地扭曲變形著。
像是「大屠殺」一般的角色，不但臉在說話，肢體也在說話。如果將這些彷彿永生不息的動態肢體，加諸日常物件，當這些看似不會移動的物件，跟著「大屠殺」衍生出鮮豔的黏液，會出現什麼樣的味道、性格、超能力？
徐力彬的繪畫正是這樣的過程，並且總是充滿擠壓和塗抹，無法保持靜止，這位土生土長於台灣的藝術家的生活，就像是餅乾和麵包上面的奶油和果醬、加熱中的起司，甚至是屎尿和其他體液，跟著「大屠殺」一起熔解成具有生命的黏液狀態的正反角色。
人們傾向將當今理解為一個腐化、愚蠢、混亂、動盪不安的世界，一個病毒與虛假資訊肆虐的世界，克制、尊嚴、傳統和秩序都被刺穿；但這也是一個迷幻的世界，一個文化前所未有流通的世界，場景設定於二十世紀紐約的漫畫，和儒道思想一起形塑一個人的童年。
我們無法直接對應這是藝術家某天早上的自畫像、那是情人特寫、那是新聞畫面，但是⋯⋯
徐力彬
1991年生，文化大學德文系畢業，2017年進入國立臺北藝術大學美術創作研究所繪畫組。最早的記憶之一，是阿諾・史瓦辛格和詹姆斯・卡麥隆合作的電影《魔鬼終結者 2：審判日（Terminator 2: Judgment Day, 1991）》，從此迷上所有關於超級英雄的故事。

My Bloody Ibiza is inspired by butter, jam, heated cheese, feces, urine and other body fluids, as well as the Spider-man character Carnage.
Carnifex Tyranid (Hsu Li Bin)
Who Is Carnifex Tyranid? Admittedly, there are not many photos of myself kicking around the World Wide Web. The name Carnifex Tyranid is seen by some as a ripoff and to others as a marketing tactic – you just stole that from Warhammer 40,000, right?
Now that’s a longish story and the answer is yes and no. If you check the Warhammer history you’ll see Tyranids were created back in 1995 which was about the time before Warhammer 40,000 got itself in a bit of a mess with few PC games with a guy whose name I can’t recall. For me, a Tyranids Battleforce Boxset was bought in celebration of getting into a university. Since that day I decided to revive a sense of romanticism which had almost disappeared since my teenage years and relaunch it with my enthusiasm for fantasy objects.
I spent the days of my preschool age watching movies and X-Files TV episodes. The most impressive ones were Godfather, Blade Runner, Star Wars, Alien, Predator, and Terminator. They all made me mind-boggling for several years until I could finally find them in ecstasy.
At the age of 13, I purchased the Alien Queen statue from Palisades which fascinated me with H. R. Giger's creations. Over the years, I was obsessed with American graphic novels, most of them published by Marvel Comics. I had always shopped at the Page One Bookstore in Taipei 101. The one comic artist I admired the most was Richard Corben. At the same time, I also began practicing acrylic painting.
In 2020, after majoring in German at university, working as a bank operator, directing a punk band, and two MFA studies, I decided to reexamine the visual and language training I received previously. This expansion of consciousness includes culture theories, Marxism, psychoanalyst theories, and of course, fine art theories. However, the archaic forms of figuration in my mind remain as – Tyranids.
