黃海鳴 HUANG Hai-Ming

巴黎第八大學美學博士,國立臺北教育大學藝術系教授及文化創意產業經營學系創系系主任,現已退休,但仍保留部分教學。台灣最早並且持續將社會介入型當代藝術帶進城鄉公共空間的策展人,1998-2001年間參與爭取將閒置華山酒廠作為跨領域藝術文化特區的運動,並負責期間華山藝術特區的經營與管理。1990年開始一直都是台灣當代藝術生態重要觀察、藝評、評審。2012-14年退休前曾任台北市立美術館館長兩年半,關心跨領域合作及當代藝術進入真實社會空間的能量。
Huang holds a PhD in Aesthetics, Science and Technology of the Arts from Université de Paris VIII. Before his retirement, he was a professor at the Department of Art and director of the Department of Cultural and Creative Industry Management, National Taipei University of Education, and he still teaches a few classes at present. He is the first curator to introduce socially engaged contemporary art into public space in urban and rural areas. From 1998 to 2001, he participated in and fought for the transformation of the disused Huashan Distillery into an interdisciplinary park for arts and culture, and was in charge of the operation and management of Huashan Art and Culture Park. Since the 1990s, he has been an important observer, art critic and juror in the Taiwanese contemporary art scene. From 2012 to 2014, he served as the director of the Taipei Fine Arts Museum for two and a half years before he retired. Throughout his career, he has always focused on the energy that propels interdisciplinary collaboration and contemporary art intervention in real social space.
