曾少千TSENG Shao-Chien
Professor and Director of the Graduate Institute of Art Studies, National Central University in Taiwan; Editor-in-Chief of the online platform, Art History Strolls
美國愛荷華大學藝術史博士，國立中央大學藝術學研究所教授兼所長，《漫遊藝術史》網站主編。曾擔任國科會藝術學門副召集人、中央研究院歐美所訪問學者、中央大學藝文中心主任。榮獲中大學術研究傑出獎、College Art Association-Getty Foundation、Nineteenth-Century Studies Association國際學者獎助。研究領域為現代與當代藝術、攝影與視覺文化。近期著有《現代身體的再現：十九世紀藝術中的運動文化》，參與藝術家書《林羿綺：放映間》、《星移：葉世強／葉偉立》，主編《變遷留轉：視域之徑》。
TSENG Shao-Chien received her PhD in art history from the University of Iowa. She is Professor at the Graduate Institute of Art Studies, National Central University in Taiwan, and editor-in-chief of the online platform, Art History Strolls. She has been the co-convener of arts division for National Science and Technology Council, the visiting researcher at the Institute of European and American Studies in Academia Sinica, and the director of National Central University Art Center. She is the recipient of the National Central University Excellence Research Award, College Art Association-Getty Foundation, and Nineteenth-Century Studies Association International Scholar Awards.
Her research focuses on modern and contemporary art, photography and visual culture. Tseng is the author of Picturing the Modern Body: Sports Culture in Nineteenth-Century Art, a contributor of artist books Lin Yi-Chi: Between Screenings, and Constellations: Yeh Shih-Chiang and Yeh Wei-Li, the editor of Still/Stir: Approaching the Field of Vision.
