展覽概念｜About：

「體面」是一種預期被肯定的價值觀，亦是一種評估後的選擇，不只針對形體認知，也展現行為風範。作為評估小我與大我的標準，體面的小我是人際關係的評價，自我修為可成；體面的大我則含界面甚廣，以一個民族國家的體面執著將會是牽一髮而動全身的國際議題，影響截然不同。在國際議題分陳多變的21世紀，傳媒渠道快速雜亂，因為各自價值觀引發的複雜議題已經不是執著體面觀就可以解決，反而可能令情勢陷入膠著。到底「體面」的意涵可以套在甚麼界別與觀點上？我們能對「體面」提出甚麼層次認知？「體面」邀請香港藝術家曾建華與台灣年輕藝術家鄒逸真參展，希望由兩人作品對話裡，探討「體面」價值觀與視覺之間的矛盾關聯。

‘Creditable worth’ means to depict the evaluation of praise, reputation and credence as an identification or preference. The acknowledgment may be as small as personal performance and relationships, and may also be as huge as national accomplishment and international associations. In the era of the 21st century when there are considerable issues of international relationship and various medias that transmit a variety of information, how does one recognise the differences between diverse values? How does one understand and appreciate ‘Creditable worth’? This exhibition invites TSANG Kin-Wah from Hong Kong and a young Taiwanese artist TSOU I-Chen and intends to raise a conversation about the significance and visual creation in relation to‘Creditable worth’.
