《四点四色：中國當代藝術聯展》鄭宏祥、彭博、李青、黃坤熊，四位傑出的藝術新銳，四方位置四種特色，如同四色定理般，在中國當代藝術的圖面上呈現四種絕不重複且無法取代的色彩。鄭宏祥以他一貫的黑色幽默，在超現實的奇想裡暗喻個體多樣性在僵化體制下所產生矛盾衝突，將調侃轉化為一種嚴肅的能量；彭博將自身的存在比喻成「微塵」，在與光線和空氣的揉和作用下，產生出與天地合一的正向能量；以連續不斷的幾何結構佈滿畫面的黃坤熊，通過強烈形式感的圖像來傳達當代人與人，人與物之間的一種「冷酷」感、「距離」感；李青將他對建築空間的興趣，對應到內在世界的探索，她透過繪畫將敏感的心境吐露給大眾，如同在密閉的世界中尋找脫逃的裂縫與出口。四位「80後」的藝術家，不同的創作特色，具有強烈的個人色彩，無法用既定的風格為他們歸納與標籤，這也反映著中國年輕藝術家如何定義藝術創作，並呈現自己所實踐的「當代性」。

China New Wave invites four emerging Chinese artists ZHENG HongXiang, PENG Bo, HUANG KunXiong, LI Qing. They represent four styles, as well as four Color Theorem, are irreplaceable and unique in the trend of Chinese contemporary art. ZHENG HongXiang illustrates surreal dream state under his sense of humor that implies paradox when diversities meet rigid social structures. PENG Bo compares himself as dust particle that creates unity of man and universe after it meets nature power. HUANG KunXiong, who combines a series of geometric structures on canvas, states distance and coolness among human being and objects. LI Qing reveals her interests of architecture when she explores her mental maze. She pours out her sensibility to the public by seeking cracks or exits from enclosed construction on her canvas. Four Chinese artists who were born after 1980s present strong characters in their paintings. No current definition and styles are able to categorize them. The exhibition manifests how emerging Chinese artists define art and how do they practice their own modernity.
