這是一個展覽的邀請，關於展覽的一些細節與內容如下。

以下是這次展覽＂the One and Only Gallerina＂的說明。
GALLERINA 以畫廊與芭蕾舞者的英文單字合為一個新的單字，但在此我將此單字作為一個藝術工作者的代名詞，畫廊小姐將不僅於畫廊此場域，其工作或許也在非營利組織、文 化中心、美術館、政府部門、駐村空間、相關產業(如運輸、裝裱、拍賣、倉儲).......。而所謂獨一無二的畫廊小姐，獨一無二共有兩個層次的解釋，一 個是指行政本身因為經驗的不同而造就的獨特性，另一為其每一次不同展覽，不同類型的獨特性。除了上述兩點外，甚至在某個獨一無二且特別的某個特別時刻，那 個當下如果沒有當事者本身的本領與貢獻及付出，此展覽將無法成立。

『「作為獨一無二的畫廊小姐，是否有那樣的一個獨一無二的魔幻時刻，你覺得自己就是救世主。」』

本展將覽邀請畫廊小姐(主觀認為自己具有行政身分，而非專職藝術創作者)轉變身分做為展出者，藉由展出作品來述說那個魔幻時刻(關於美好或是不美好的回憶)。

To Whom It May Concern / Dear Gallerina,

This is an invitation to participate in an upcoming exhibition, with more details outlined as below.

the One and Only Gallerina Statement
Gallerina, a newly-coined vocabulary which combines the word “gallery” and “ballerina”, and has been adopted by us to describe and to represent the people working in the field of art, particularly referring to the ones holding more of an administrative responsibilities. Gallerinas are not narrowly restricted to professionals working in art galleries, but also applies to people working in NGOs, art centers, museums, governmental departments, residencies and all other related industries (e.g. transportation, mounting, storage companies and auction houses and etc.).When it comes to the title of the exhibition “the One and Only”, we aim to reflect two layers of the meaning behind this adjective: first being the uniqueness of each administrative individual that works in the art field; second, through the distinct contributions of each single Gallerina to the exhibitions that they are part of, exclusive and non-repetitive outcomes are thus created. Last but not least, in addition to the two previous definitions, there are always the “one and only” unique moment that are being orchestrated by the gallerinas, whether intentionally or unintentionally; without these individuals and their distinctive contributions and participation, there shall be no exhibition at all.

As a one and only gallerina, is there a magical moment that you feel like the savior, where you can see your unique and inimitable importance to the exhibition ?

The exhibition invites gallerinas to swap their role from administrative personnels to exhibitors/artists and create art pieces that each they believe would best depict their stories of the “one and only” moment. (regardless of the story being a positive or a negative one).

The exhibition is held at Haiton Art Center from February 15th to April 1th, 2017.
